It is now official, although I have always known it, the empirical evidence is in. Everyone associated with the Gary-Chicago International Airport is officially insane.

Insanity is defined when one uses the same activity over and over and expects different results. That is what all the insane people have utilized with this Airport. I sincerely believe that its major value is as an extended farm, ranch, or fish-pond.
Another airline is leaving. How many is that now? There is not any known individual who will speak the truth that there is not any future for the Gary airport. Its only value is the continued sinking of public funds into the system and this money coming back out in other people's pockets. It is called corruption. Why do you think the man behind Peotone airport is now going to jail with his wife? Anyone really thing Gary is any different?
How many people have to take money out of your pocket before you see the light? Gary's Mayor has turned out to be as corrupt as all the other mayors. She is even worse because she has Tom McDermott as the head of her party helping her in the corruption process.
I have watched all of these "so called honest people" reach for the brass ring to make something out of the Aiport and Gary -- both are lost completely. Then I realized that the brass-ring served to line so many people pockets; no one cared if it ultimately workded or not as long as they made money.
That isw the politics of Lake County and it current head is the McDermott corrupt family.
