My readers were earlier informed, on this blog, that Purdue University was investigating this blog for its infingement on the freedom of speech of University faculty. The claim was that this blog was the main culprit in denying the rights of the faculty:
Blog: Chancellor Colludes with Faculty to "get" Eisenstein
The charges were that I violated Purdue University's rules by pulishing what they provided to me under my FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) request. I should point out that by law in the State of Indiana the University has to provide them to me, or anyone else, the information. They in turn have every legal right to make the information public.
As absurd as it may seem, Purdue University convened a full investigation of me, again. This has done more than anything to stiffle and chill free speech on Purdue's campus. It is now non- existent, except for myself. The big help came from FIRE (The Foundation for Individual Freedom in Education.) You can see their many documents about my case for free speech at the following:
Remember, the sole goal of Purdue University's Chancellor Keon is to chill free-speech when it is not in conformity with his views of what is proper. I know that is an oxymoronic statement; but, that is how free speech actions, during his academic career, have continued to reflect.
